XRISQUES focuses on the challenges of interdisciplinary research with an international scope and the renewal of public policies, as well as the challenges of scientific coordination, training through research, and the building of a visible interdisciplinary scientific community around these multiple risk issues.

Risk mapping

The mapping of risks and their interactions allows us to identify the need for further research into risks that are insufficiently addressed by research departments and other INRAE PMs.

System vulnerability

A priori, addressing vulnerability to multiple risks is very different from simply juxtaposing vulnerabilities by risk.

Transition & emerging risks

Assessing the performance and risks associated with new agricultural and food systems will require the development of coupled modeling within a dynamic multi-criteria framework that allows comparisons between diverse trajectories.

Perception & behavior

Representations, perceptions and attitudes to risk are not unique to different eras, sectors or population groups, and the way in which individual and collective (public or private) actors adapt to risks (and uncertainties) is a major area of research for economics, sociology and many other social sciences and humanities less represented at INRAE, such as psychology, history, political science and law.
